Network Overview

Our website, and all of our servers are hosted in geographically diverse locations with redundant network connections. This means if we have a problem at one location it does not effect any other location.

Every Voice Command Center server is connected to at least 100 mbps network port running on the best Internet backbones in the world. Our locations and Tier 1 networks are the best for great average latency to both east and west coast, also exceptional connections worldwide. All networks are backed by enterprise class 99.9%-100% SLA uptime agreements.

Server Locations

Texas

Houston, Texas USA. Features multi-homed connectivity with bandwidth from independent Tier 1 carriers, combining multiple 10 Gbps connections to create one of the industry’s fastest networks. Proven reliability and a central location.

California

San Diego, California USA. Connected to 100% Premium Multi-homed Bandwidth including 11 different Tier 1 Fiber carriers. This location is great for connectivity to Asia and America.

New Jersey

Secaucus, New Jersey USA. With a Redundant NYC Metro Network Powered by a mesh of 1Gbps Ethernet connections and connected to multiple Tier 1 IP backbone providers. This location is excellent for connectivity to Europe and America.

Washington

Features multi-homed connectivity with bandwidth from independent Tier 1 carriers, combining multiple 10 Gbps connections to create one of the industry’s fastest networks. This location is excellent for connectivity to Canada, Asia, and America

Illinois

Chicago, Illinois USA. Network is fully meshed, using BGP, and redundant with a wide selection of backbone providers as well as InterNAP FCP to optimize overall network routing and performance. In addition, redundant 10 Gigabit Ethernet circuits are used across the entire core of the network to reduce the risks of internal congestion due to DDoS attacks and to maintain optimal flexibility. This location is excellent for connectivity to Canada, and America.

England

London, England EU. With multiple Tier 1 providers including a direct connection to the London Internet Exchange (LINX). This location is excellent for connectivity to Europe.

Server Hardware

Enterprise class dedicated servers that run single, dual, and quad core processors with up to 4 GB of ram. All servers run Linux Server operating systems.

We keep resource usage very low and never overload our servers. The average cpu load and network usage on our voice servers is always low to ensure the best quality of service. TSDNS Custom Hostname improvements

To provide a considerable improvement in TSDNS lookup reliability we have recently added additional TSDNS servers to each Teamspeak 3 server location.

One side effect of adding more redundancy to the TSDNS domains is that it breaks existing external custom domains like ts.yoursite.com:9987. To solve this we have added the ability to use your own domain with our TSDNS to the TS3 Control Panel "Custom Hostname" page. An added benefit of using our TSDNS is that your users will be able to join without the need for port number.
