HOW TO: Restrict Viewing of Private Channels

This procedure sets the permissions so that members of the "Guest Group" cannot see other users inside a channel.

To make a Guest unable to see anyone in a channel:

1. Right click on the channel in question and choose "Edit Channel"

2. Switch to the "Permissions" tab and change the value of "Subscribe:" to higher than the "Guest Group" permission of "i_channel_subscribe_power"

By default this permission is not set. You can use any value higher than 0 and lower than 75 or that of the highest "i_channel_subscribe_power" in your other server groups.
